Grand Buddies

Children throughout Montgomery County are invited to for a friendship with an older adult.  Participating children need to have transportation to the adult's home location, and younger children may need to have an adult accompany them, so this is a program that necessitates parent involvement and support. Interages will help match each child with an adult at a convenient location, and will provide ongoing support (conversation topics, craft and game ideas). Students must commit initially to at least two visits of 30 minutes each per month for a minimum of six months.  Services learning hours available

For more information about this program please contact our Program Director, Sara Cartmill at 301-949-3551, ext, 30. Or email at cartmill@interagesmd.org
