Annie Sapucaia-
serves as the Program Coordinator for our Intergenerational Bridges Mentoring Program located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Her responsibilities include recruiting older adult mentors and providing training, planning educational activities and games, as well as facilitating the weekly sessions. She graduated from the Applied Sociology MA program at University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and received her BA in Sociology from Queen’s University in Canada, where she was involved with the Sociology Student Council. Ms. Sapucaia has experience with both qualitative and quantitive research methods, and has worked with ESOL students, children with neurosensory disorders, and senior citizens. She speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and French and has volunteered at Threshold Services, Ruth Rales, and Big Sisters.
